First Communion Photography Sessions : Outdoor and On Location
The time has come for the beautiful sacrament of First Communion. Why not capture these special moments with photography? I am offering photography sessions for your communicant and family at any location you would love.
I am offering both full and mini sessions.
Each session time is slightly different so please continue reading to see which type is better suited for you and your family.
FULL SESSIONS
Full Sessions are completely customized to you and your schedule, aesthetic, and desires for the photography session. These sessions do not have a restriction on the length of time we spend together, before, during and after the session. You can choose many poses and backgrounds. We can get very creative with any ideas you may have. All family members, including extended family, are more than welcome to join in the photographs.
Full sessions include unlimited pre session consultations either in person or via phone or zoom as well as unlimited post session meeting ups together. A full photography session of your dreams with unlimited time given to each important detail. A full gallery of images created together telling the story of your communicant and your family if you wish. Post session meetings to curate the perfect take home gallery delivered in the printing format of your dreams. This is a beautiful experience for you and your child where he/she will feel like the magical person he/she is and you will have the photographs to look back on for a lifetime.
I have a long list of beautiful outdoor settings in the northern New Jersey and surrounding areas. Your church is also a wonderful place to hold the session. It truly tells the story of this wonderful time of your family’s life.
Full session packages start at $690.
MINI SESSIONS
Mini Sessions are just that…..MINI. They are strictly 20 minute sessions and are on specific dates that are listed below. They include five edited images in digital format. There is the option to purchase prints, canvas, albums, metals etc. There are rules and restrictions regarding mini sessions so please be sure to read the details below. If you are looking for a quick session with just the communicant which includes a small amount of poses and are happy with the location of my choice, this is a great option for you. Typically at this age, children are able to pose and understand the time restrictions. However if you think your child will not be able to “get the shots” in 20 minutes, I suggest a full session. Immediate family members can join in on these sessions, parents and siblings only. However, they will take time away from the single poses of the communicant. You can book back to back minis in which you will get double what the offer is below.
This mini session includes:
Pre-session session style and prep guide so you can be sure to arrive photo ready.
20 minute photo shoot in a location of my choice
A gallery of at least 10 photographs to choose your favorites from.
5 artistically edited digital files for you to keep with full rights. You can purchase additional files also.
15% off wall art.

Before booking please understand that these sessions can not go overtime as they are scheduled back to back. You must arrive on time. A late arrival will mean that time is lost shooting time. The sessions will all take place at a specific location of my choice. Also, you know your children best. If your child is going to struggle with having his/her photo taken, a mini session might not be the best option. If you have concerns about being on time, the location of our shoot or worrying about your kids, please consider a midi or full session. Reach out to me for details on those sessions which offer much more flexibility.
To keep everything as simple as possible, the session must be paid in full to book. The fee is subject to NJ State Sales Tax.
Extensive Styling Help
This mini session includes access to my comprehensive styling guide. I am also available to assist with any concerns or questions at any point before, during or after our session together.
How it works
About one week after the photo session, you will receive a lightly edited gallery with images to choose from. You will choose your favorites and I will fully edit them and have them back to you one to three weeks after that date. Those photos will be delivery in an online gallery with permissions set to download. You have full rights to those digital photo files. Please note that I have my schedule set with shooting and editing time slots. If you take an extended time in choosing those favorites, it could add time on to the second edit. I will contact you if that window is getting close.
Finishing Touches
I have a full studio which also offers a wide selection of high end custom printing. Amazing options such as holiday cards, albums, small prints, accordian books, folio boxes and many options for wall art are popular choices. Wall art is traditionally framed photographs, canvas and framed canvas, and metal and framed metal. This session includes a 15% discount on canvas, wall art, and folio boxes. Photographs and prints make wonderful gifts and I would love to show you what I offer.
